This is a two-hour presentation by Christian Skoorsmith for the 2021 International Education Convention of the National Guild of Hypnotists on the topic of working with transgender clients in hypnosis. This brief orientation/training begins to familiarize practicing hypnotists with vocabulary, issues, techniques, and dynamics that are at play in the transgender community particularly, and are helpful to know about when working in a clinical/therapeutic hypnosis context with transgender clients. Christian is not transgender, but does have training and experience in working with transgender clients. His practice has been an explicitly safe place for transgender individuals to seek hypnosis since 2017. This training includes unlimited access to the video and all supplemental materials.
